“God will not call me home in the next 5 years” – Pastor Adeboye.
The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Psalm 25:14
In what looks like a confirmation of the fear he has for God and an apparent show of his closeness to his creator, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, declared that he would not die in the next 5 years according to what God had told him.
Speaking at the special ministers conference of the RCCG which held at the Redemption Camp, Mowe on Saturday 4th August, 2018. Daddy G.O. as he is also called by faithfuls, revealed this while responding to rumors of his intention to hand over the leadership of the church to Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel.
Advising his audience to always crosscheck their stories before believing he said:
“But I would advice you to always check sources of your information before believing such information and also to focus on whatever you are doing rather than spreading rumor.
“So, let me say it loud and clear again that God has not told me who my successor is.
“What God had told me several years ago was that He would tell me who my successor would be at least five years before I would be called home and as at this now, He had not told me anything as regards that, which means He is not ready to call me home in the next five years.
